I’m off to work – I’ll see some of you this evening (between 5 and 6) and the rest tomorrow!

I hope that the “intermittent” of this evening’s rain showers is going on when I want to set up my tent…

The plan is to meet at the parking area by the Hancock Trail (at the hairpin turn on the Kanc) at 8:30 and hit the trail at 9:00am. You mentioned 10am … I hope you can make the earlier time!

I use 1600×1200 at work and at home.

The only time I’m any lower is on the laptop, which only goes to 1280×1024.

Very squished. I have a whole lot of blank white space on the right side of my browser, and the Forum location links (ie “Flags on the 48 Forum Index -> Planning Meeting”) are all word-wrapped and awkward.

I think it’s going to be one of those last minute deals as the weaher was looking iffy last I checked.

Lincoln, NH Saturday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the upper 40s.

It’s the scattered thunderstorms on Friday that may be an issue. As long as I can get the tent up between raindrops I’ll be happy.

The grill sounds great to me. I forgot about Bill & Bob’s … that’s my Friday night dinner!

If you each bring a tent and “claim” three separate sites, we can then consolidate as we arrive and replace with our own tents…

So … I don’t remember if we discussed Saturday dinner plans … are we each doing our own camp food or are we ordering pizza or something else? I can’t really contribute a dish to a pot luck since I’m 100% busy all week with work and other commitments, but will certainly chip in if we do group food. Or if it’s all individual, I’ll bring some burgers and just point me to a grill.
                      😀

I have no idea for Friday night food yet, either. I hope to there around 5pm. After pitching my tent and setting up my site, I may just grab something in Lincoln if others are as well.

Who else is going to be around Saturday during the day? I’m only doing Webster-Jackson in the morning, so I expect to be back by early afternoon.

Now – that’s for the signups to commit a flag to a peak, not the signups just to be supportive on a peak?

I think one thing to keep in mind number-of-sites wise is if Hancock has rules on parking a number of cars per site. Is there a lot or somewhere for the extra cars?

Does it get any better than that?!

I’ll bring a cooler with a pair of growlers.

I also have a Coleman lantern that is a small sun, even though it’s just after the solstice and we probably won’t need it.

I had great success with this flag, and given the height/structure of what I use for a flagpole, wouldn’t want any bigger or heavier.

Unless I was doing Bondcliff, in which case I’d look for a 30-footer and drape it down the cliff.

As long as it’s a place that will hold a large amount of space or a room for us. It’s not the same if we get spread around the place.

Hmm … what’s wrong with these beers for Fot48?

Long Trail or Tuckerman Ale for me…
