Sounds good man. I have been a lazy bum sine my trip out west, so my suggestion is the quicker and shorter the better 😀

Scott, Lou and I will be up Friday evening, and staying at a place in Lincoln.

Are there other options? aside from taking bridle trail and approaching from the north heading south to Lincoln? Topo doesn’t have any other trail to Lincoln other then the Franconia Ridge trail (AT).

So, from what I can tell, there arent all that many options for getting to Lincoln, and if we do the big loop, we can “bag” 3 peaks that day.

Here’s my thought, we do an out and back – (South-East)Bridle Trail –> (South, then East)Falling Water Trail –> (North)Franconia Ridge Trail(AT).

It’s 2.82 miles(approx) one way. It has about 3200′ of elevation gain. Here’s a snap shot of the one way with elevation profile.

            Any thoughts, or comments?

Yup, I’ll post it up here as a jpg, so everyone can grab it, also the *.gpx file so if anyone wants the way points they can download them as well.

I’ll put it together tonight and get it on here.

That’s cool…Quick and easy is usaually my style anyway…lol

Is this about right for the propsed route?

Sticking with the red route there and back, or is there the blue one involved? Just curious, the trails were not to clearly marked in the program.

Keep your fingers crossed. I know a bunch of folks in the military and put in a request for some fly bys if they could work it…A buddy is going to see if any flights are going to be heading out of Pease from 12-2 on that day and if they could to Fly by…

                                *Finger’s Crossed*

Seeing the A-10 flyby is what gave me the idea…
