I am very sorry to have to say this, but I must back out of the hike this week. I have been battling a respiratory infection and I have very limited lung capacity right now.

Three weeks ago I caught some kind of virus and I ended up on anti-biotics last week and I am still having allot of trouble with chest congestion.

I have not posted a route yet because I was hopeful I would be able to make the hike.

Is there someone that has registered for the hike be able to take over as the coordinator?

Please contact me with any questions or concerns!!!

I am coordinating Hancock, he is on So. Hancock. I wanted to see if he wanted to take down my flag and I would take down his. This would enable us to hit both peaks with out the down time and also to reap the rewards of our labor by seeing our own flags from a different peak.

No worries if you cannot find his information. It is not the worst thing to start over to So. Hancock at 2:00pm or not at all.

I have used them on hikes and at large ski areas. Radio waves do not bend around mountains, if your group has alot of vertical interference, you will not be able to raise them on the radio. They are good for comunicating between vehicles or if the group is not spread apart too much. Just am FYI to use caution incorporating these into plans.
