January 2, 2006 at 7:07 pmPost count: 1307#47267 |Just want to throw out a date of May 20th for our annual planning weekend/Gathering. Last year’s meeting was held around the same time and I think it went quite well. I also would like to nominate the KOA campground in Woodstock again for our camping place. They gave us a great deal last year and the campground is very clean and showers are close by.
Feel free to nominate other dates and or locations. I think it would be a good idea to hammer down these details by the first week in April so folks can make plans.

Up Falling Waters Trail to Little Haystack, across the Franconia Ridge to Mts Lincoln, then on to Mt Lafayette and down Old Bridle Trail makes a fantastic loop. One of my favorite hikes with spectacular 360* views. It is 8.9 miles with a 3900′ elevation gain. We could gaze at the views for hours!
Of course I’m in on any hike, any where.

January 19, 2006 at 12:47 pmPost count: 839That date works for me as well. The only potential conflict is that the 21st is the BTS Ride for Research, but I’m not planning on riding this year so it would only be an issue for others.
