Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know we will be hiking up the starr king trail to reach Waumbek on September 8th. We have used this trail before and it usually takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We will be traveling with 2 small children this year so plan to leave trail head between 8-8:30. (Yeah right, We aren’t called team Pokey for nothing!!)
This route can be reached just east of were 115a and route 2 meet. The road is directly across from Waumbek Golf course.
Any one is welcome to meet us on the trail or at the top. The more the merrier.
