Has anyone posted info on FOT48 anywhere? I haven’t seen posts on VFTT or AMC. It’s pretty amazing that we’re down to only four peaks (not counting reserved peaks) if it was all word of mouth.MichaelJParticipantJuly 7, 2004 at 4:59 pmPost count: 839
I haven’t yet. Being away much of last weekend (hiked Kinsman Ridge from Rte 112 up to the Whitehouse lot) I haven’t had the chance to compose something.StephenParticipantJuly 7, 2004 at 5:52 pmPost count: 759
This is only for the month of July:
Listing the top 30 referring sites by the number of requests, sorted by the number of requests.

Damn! VFTT beat AZ by one. 😆 but at least I topped AMC. 😉 Nice job on the referrals Chris O!StephenParticipantJuly 7, 2004 at 7:02 pmPost count: 759
Don’t worry Greg. You beat out VFTT soundly…

Well, there’s always the fact that coberg’s site got more than both AZ and VFTT combined! 😛

Truly amazing how quickly the list if filling up. There are lots of names that are familiar to the event and several new ones as well. Maybe having the event on September 11th is a real boon to us this year. I still think that we could post around to other sites and hopefully fill out the list that way. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we got 48 summit pictures of the mountains! VFTT is one of the first places I would post. Nice people over there. AMC is also a good idea but we would have to deal with the flaming that some persons may do. Remember Grizzlymama last year. Im not familiar with the other sites but the more hikers we can get the better this event can be and even if people don’t sign up, they can always hike that day and say a hello to the summits flagbearer.MichaelJParticipantJuly 7, 2004 at 8:56 pmPost count: 839
61 people hit my little hiking web site? That’s pretty scary!ChrisKeymasterJuly 9, 2004 at 3:13 pmPost count: 884MichaelJParticipantJuly 9, 2004 at 5:02 pmPost count: 839
BTW – I hesitated on posting to VFTT because we had half of all the peaks gone before we ever even went “official” and the rest shortly thereafter. I decided to wait until we had our “supporting” story together before referring people over here, and it sounds like that’s getting reasonably finalized, so I’ll do a post early next week when I get back from Maine (Baldpates and Table Rock this weekend).
Have a good one, all!
(and ps – yes, I’m welcoming people to join me on Garfield and help out / be there / carry stuff 🙂 )
