Just in case we are never seen or heard from again, the plan is this:

Trailhead (Lincoln Woods Visitor Center) at 7AM.

If it does not rain, the dry route:
Lincoln woods trail to Black Pond trail. Bushwhack from Black Pond NNW to jct Lincoln Brook Trail / Lincoln Brook. Up the slide on the West side of Owl’s Head. Back the same way.

If it does rain, the wet Route:
Lincoln woods trail to Lincoln Brook Trail. Up the bushwhack on the West side of Owl’s Head (near slide). Back the same way.

If we are feeling particularly perky, we will descend the East side and take the Franconia Brook Trail back.
