      Hiking over on Sunday morning from Garfield Ridge Campsite. Hiking out on Sunday via Gale River Trail. We’re all set with the flag and pole, plenty big enough to get the flag flying well above the trees.

      See you at the summit.

          I’ll be on the Gale River Trail at 7:30 with my usual hiking companion Alaska the wonder dog. I’m bringing my grandfather’s flag because I told my father I would. Not bringing a pole because all my companions bailed on me. As a first timer I’ll observe & learn.

            You may see our S Twin group, we’ll be on trail about the same time. We’re a dog-friendly crew and will have some friendly dogs with us.
