We felt fortunate and honored to be able to once again participate in this great event. A beautiful day greeted our crew of Madhatter, Boo, Tee-off and Leen-2 as we headed to our peak, Middle Carter. We got the flag up just as the clock struck noon. We were fortunate to greet a steady stream of hikers passing through on the Carter-Moriah trail. As they stopped to visit, we offered them some of Boo’s delicious cookies or brownies. Many of the AT thur-hikers were especially glad to receive the treats. We thank everyone who stopped by and offered their thoughts and good wishes. The flag looked particularly nice against the beautiful blue sky. :flag:
