      The Plan:

We will meet at Old Bridal Path Trailhead on the Northbound side of route 93 (Franconia Notch Parkway).
Boots on the trail by 7am so be there by 6:30-6:45 to distribute gear.
We will break at the Greenleaf hut to snack and stock up on water.
Then on to the summit to assemble our rig.

      What to expect:
According to MWOBS data temps can range from 9 to 69 degrees with average daily temps between 36 and 46 degrees. It may be windy too.
We plan to be on the summit for two hours so bring proper gear:

      The Flag:
I have a 4’x6’ US Flag with a 14’ extendable Painters Pole. It connects to the pole with carabiners, wire wraps and duct tape. The big challenge is tying it down in a manner that will stand up to the winds at 5000’. I have some rope but we may need more.

      Photos:
Anyone who has a camera please bring it along, take lots of pictures and post them to the Gallery on FOT48 website.

Our Flag will be supplied by Panchito :flag:
It brings a special connection to the memorial.

Panchito needed to bow out due to a family issue.

The rest of the Team should be prepared for the possibility of strong thunderstorms.
Prompt 7am start is important in order to get set up in case we need to bail early.
