At the bottom of the article is the following:
On Saturday, hikers will try to put American flags atop the 48 White Mountain peaks taller than 4,000 feet. The tradition began when some hikers posted a flag on Mount Liberty just days after the 2001 attacks. Last year flags were flown all the 4,000-footers on Sept. 14.

It was on in the background and I had to do a double-take. They had video of the Presidentials and everything!

September 12, 2003 at 1:06 pmPost count: 759It went out to the newspapers, and I assume that the AP had the name, which is where all these organizations are getting the info from. They just chose to leave it out. Or maybe AP left it off the wire?
