      1st-3rd. Thunderstorms clear the East Coast, then pleasant for the start of the Labor Day weekend. 4th-7th. Scattered showers Mid-Atlantic States, then fair. Scattered thunderstorms into New England. 8th-11th. Pleasant weather; unseasonably crisp/chilly mornings, mild afternoons. 12th-15th. Thunderstorms. 16th-19th. Fair, then scattered showers, then fair. Rain for Virginia, Maryland area. 20th-23rd. Mostly fair. 24th-27th. Locally heavy showers and thunderstorms. 28th-30th. Clearing.

          So far it looks like Farmers is right on with Sept. 1-3
