The missus and I will be headed up Star King Trail about 8am. We are staying at the Twin Mountain KOA and will probably return there to relax following the long day. This will be her first 4k!

I have a flag and will be procuring a 25′ telescoping pole prior to the hike. No plans for rigging at this time.

How about using EMT (1/2″ or 3/4″) with EMT set-screw connectors to make the mast?

Only flying one flag. No way to anchor it… in the past I’ve always passed off from different team members to hold it.
