How’s the web site traffic been since the event?

I know when I posted the link from the AMC board a couple of days before, the counter was at 800. Now it’s at 4000 (?)

The stats are run every Sunday. MJ, I PM’d you the link for you to peruse. Feel free to summarize it here if you’d like.

THe interesting thing is that the traffic dropped by 50% on the 11th. Probably because we were all on the peaks then at the grill. But the traffic on Sunday the 12th was up 30% from the traffic on Friday the 10th.

10th: 25676 hits
11th: 12832 hits
12th: 33477 hits

It should also be noted that traffic the week leading up to the 11th was twice what it had been for the prior weeks.

What are “hits”? Page hits or file hits? A better indicator of traffic is page hits, or better yet is the number of unique visitors.

So far, 16734 total pages have been served in September 2004. The page counts for 10th, 11th, 12th are 2156, 1303, and 2839, respectively.

The number of unique sites has gone up every day, and last measured was on the 12th at 411.

I can’t wait to see this week’s stats…
