      Has anyone been able to get above the trees on Owls head and how tall a pole did you use?

        I have seen a flag on Owls head from garfield and from Liberty. My guess is 12-15 feet if you use the trees to help you boost it should get it visible.

          Did Owls Head few years ago with my 20-25’ pole setup that we had on South Hancock several years ago if you remember.

                After action. We used a 32′ pole at the summit. This was not enough. At least 40′ is needed at the summit. There is a clearing about 100yds before the summit that a 30+ foot pole would work.
