The Hike:
The hike up Osceola (4,340′) is described in the AMC booked as one of the
easiest 4,000-footers in New Hampshire. The hike up is 3.2 miles, with an
elevation gain of about 2,000 feet and it will take us approximately 2 to 2 1/2
hours to arrive at the summit. The summit is exposed and has excellent views.
We will meet around 9:00 am at the trail head (parking lot) off Tripoli
road in Waterville Valley and will take the Osceola trail to the summit.
This is a nice hike and you will be able to hike at your own pace.
