Hello all,
First and foremost, This is a rain or shine event. Keep an eye on the weather. Your safety is the number one concern. Do not push yourself into something that is hazardous. I would prefer that the flag is raised in the trailhead parking lot than for someone to get injured. The trails will be damp, Some streams may be quite high and there could be some really strong winds out there. BE SAFE.
Secondly, Thank you all for participating. For some, it is your first event. Make some great memories. For the event veterans out there, You guys are the backbone of the event. You know who you are and I thank you.
Thirdly, please forward a confirmation of how you did to the website or the Facebook page ASAP. Please try to get and post at least one group picture of the crew and the flag. Let’s try for 100% on that.
Lastly, I can not stress enough to be safe out there. Look out for each other. Be prepared for all weather conditions.
