We (Troop 11, Litchfield, NH) stayed overnight at Living water Campground Friday night, hit the trail head by 7:50. We had a group of 8 scouts and 4 adults. Due to the size of the group going was a bit slow and we didn’t get our flag up untill 12:45. We had a great flag raising, with the scouts in Class A uniforms, and a nice 18′ flagpole. We flew the Stars and Stripes, and a US Army flag, for My oldest son, who is an Army Ranger Corporal.
We left right at 2:00 and hiked out in some drizzle, around 3:00-3:30 we had thunderstorms and a gale blowing rotted branches down around all over the place. The gale didn’t last long though.
The scouts loved it, and are telling me they want to do it next year.
      Thanks, FOT48 organizers!
