A quick thank you to the great group that met up at the trailhead.
The hike up was uneventful. It was windy and clear at the summit when we first got up there before the clouds moved in. With sustained winds at least 50 miles an hour at the summit and temps hovering around 38 it proved to be a challenge. We were unable to use the full flagpole but we’re able to fly the flag about 9 feet up. 2 flags from Iraq and my personal flag made it onto the pole. :flag: The flags flew from 11:15 through 1:45 when it became to difficult for the group to stay up top.
At the bottom we had a quick victory celebration and went on our way. Thanks to all for the help and teamwork.

      And Scott too….

              Hi Everyone,
I got my login fixed! I want to thank everyone for a great hike. It may have been cold and very windy at the top but it was well worth it. Thanks to Josh and Billy for letting us fly their flags. Big thanks to Mark for keeping everyone up to date, informed. I will try and get some pictures up soon. Can’t wait till next year.
              Thanks again,
              Scott
