      Okay, I will be at the Cog Station at 0800 (or close enough to that for a person driving up from CT) and start up the Ammonoosuc Trail at around 0815. I will have a pole and flag. Any others interested in bringing anything else with you, it would be great. Plan on doing the National Anthem at the top. Looking forward to anyone interested in joining me.

        Good to see that G.O. and Dr. D. are joining you – you’ll have a great hike! I hope Garret’s friend with the clarinet makes it, too.

          Garrett’s friend Gary is outstanding on the clarinet. I’ve got a good movie of him playing the Star Spangled Banner. Many folks commented that you could hear him playing as they made their way up the Monroe Loop.
