Our group plans to head up Crawford Path on Saturday morning with boots on trail by 8:00 a.m. We will be spending the night at Nauman tentsite and want to have enough time to set up camp, eat and hike over to Pierce and Eisenhower and just enjoy the day in general. For those joining our group you are welcome to meet us at 8:00 a.m. on the Crawford Path on Saturday for the overnight, or hike up on your own time and hook up with us at camp. We have a Blue and Yellow Sierra Design tent fly. On Sunday morning Russ will hike back down Crawford Path to meet those who weren’t able to camp. He plans to be back at the trailhead for 7:00 a.m. That should allow enough time for the hike back up to Nauman and then to head over to the summit.
For those camping please be advised that there is a caretaker who will be looking to collect the $8.00 per person, per night fee. Russ and I will most likely be staying until Monday morning.
