To those hikers that plan to bring drones for pictures:
I do not mind that you bring them along. However, in the event that there is a flyover by a helicopter, I have been asked by one of the pilots of past events to please not fly your drone if you see a flyover is coming. The pilots know of the event and try to swing close to the summits. I have been told that some drones are hard to see and that there have been incidents that I would not like to see happen here. So please, if your hear the helicopter, land your drones. No exceptions. Let’s keep the skies safe for these men and women.
