Our group hiked in from Zealand Road to the hut and up Lend – o – Hand Trail to the summit and had the flag flying from 11:45 – 2pm. It was windy but we were somewhat thankful that we ended up on Hale rather than one of the open summits. Thanks to everyone involved. What an inspiration!
