      we are planning on taking The Greeley Pond trail. Leaving the parking lot at 9am. trailhead is on rte 112 (kancamangus) It’s a 5.6 mile hike round trip so I think that will give us plenty of time to summit and set up flag by noon. We have a pole set up with flag. We will bring paracord and welcome help setting up the pole/flag. I know the scouts have a ceremony they will do.

          we have moved our start time to 8:30 tomorrow morning. We are hopeful we can summit and fly the flag for as long as seems sensible. We had hoped to bag Osceola also but unless the forecast changes that likely won’t be wise for us. For those that are at the Greeley Ponds trailhead in the morning we can decide about hiking together or at own pace. Looking forward to it and the forecast for thunder keeps getting later…
