A great day on Cannon! Thanks to Darwin for supplying the flag and rigging.
It was the best day yet for spotting flags. We saw 7 – Lafayette, Lincoln, Liberty, North Kinsman, South Kinsman, Garfield, and Moosilauke. Also barely visible were the towers on Washington – never realized you could see them from Cannon.
Story of the day: We hung a poster with a description of the FOT48 event and pictures from past events. A group from New Jersey recognized themselves in a 2007 photo taken on Cannon! They were thrilled.
