      Hey everyone,
      Here is the official game plan for this year’s event for everyone interested in spending the weekend and doing the whole traverse on Saturday.

      Friday/Saturday night:
      Preferred option – Tent sites at Dolly Copp campground.
      Second option (if Dolly is full) – Tent sites at Barnes Field campground.

      Saturday morning:
      Car-spot a couple vehicles at IMP trail parking lot. Carpool to Nineteen Mile Brook trail-head parking lot to meet for 7:30AM start of hike. Hiking to Carter Dome by taking Nineteen Mile Brook Trail, Carter Dome Trail through Zeta Pass (less vert and faster to summit), Carter Moriah Trail to the summit (for 12PM flag raising). 12-2PM be wicked patriotic!! 🍻 Break down flag and traverse to Mount Hight, to South Carter, to Middle Carter, to North Carter (if we feel up to it), down North Carter trail, and back to the car-spot along the IMP Trail.

      Sunday morning:
      Breakdown camp sites, grab breakfast somewhere together before goodbyes.

      Anyone that doesn’t want to hike the traverse would be able to backtrack to the parking lot at the start of the hike the same way we went up, or go down the Carter Moriah Trail if you want a change of scenery (this would be a steep decent).

        I have a 10 x 15 flag and pole. I will bring and be prepared to cover any other peak in Carters and/or also fly it on the Dome.

          Hey everyone,
          We’re a week out from this year’s event so I just wanted to provide a final update. For those camping out for the weekend, I’ll see you Friday night at White Birches campground sometime between 8-9PM. For those meeting us Saturday morning for just the hike, I’ll see you at Nineteen Mile Brook trail-head parking lot at 7:30AM. We’re still planning on hiking to Carter Dome by taking Nineteen Mile Brook Trail, Carter Dome Trail through Zeta Pass (less vert and faster to summit), Carter Moriah Trail for the 12PM flag raising at the summit.
