      Hi,

My name is Sonia Scherr, and I’m a reporter for the Valley News, a daily newspaper based in Lebanon, N.H. (We’re the sister paper to the Concord Monitor.) I’m very interested in covering the flags on the 48 event, perhaps by tagging along with a group climbing one of the peaks on Saturday. To that end, I was wondering if anybody in our coverage area will be participating. We cover the following New Hampshire towns: Canaan, Charlestown, Cornish, Croydon, Dorchester, Enfield, Grafton, Grantham, Hanover, Haverhill, Lebanon, Lyme, New London, Newport, Orford, Orange, Piermont, Plainfield, Springfield, Sunapee and Unity. We also cover about 20 towns in Vermont from Newbury down to Weathersfield and west to Randolph and Bethel. If anybody lives in our coverage area, please let me know! I wouldn’t make you the focus of a story, but it would be nice to have at least one local person in the group if I were to do a piece. Thanks!
