        bobandgeri also posted on the AMC boards for the event. It would be kinda foolish if we did not advertise there. It’s where this all orginally started.
        I guess my post on Backpacker worked. Where’s Alpinezone???? That was our first home!

              Wow – we were very suprised to see our site at the top of the list. That’s great that we are helping to spread the word.

              We received an email today from someone who was on Mt Liberty last year. He is a retired member of the armed services and just wanted to say thank you for our participation in the event. He asked that we do not share his comments, but I can share the fact that it reminded us once again how much it means to people to see this act of patriotic spirit as we raise Old Glory on the mountain tops. :flag:

                Hey BobandGeri,

                By any chance was it the gentleman that was carry the flag that flew over Kabul and was hiking the Franconia Ridge?
                Just curious as I thought he had a great story for the day.
