      The plan is to meet at the Appalachia parking lot at 7:15am and plan on heading up the Airline Trail around 7:30. The trail is 4.3 miles to the summit with 4500 vertical feet of elevation gain. It is a rugged, but very scenic trail. We have a flag, pole, and everything needed to hoist starting at Noon. We do need some help carrying everything up. All we need is good weather and a little wind (but not too much wind) 🙂

            The weather is looking great for the hike. It will be cold though (mid 30’s on the summit), so please make sure you bring a good jacket, hat, and gloves. We will be hanging out on the summit for 2 hours.

            I will be parked at Appalachia in a black grand jeep Cherokee with Mass plates. I will also be easily recognized because I will be the only one wearing a Yankee cap. 🙂
